This classic fragrance, created in 1919 with an earthy heart of oakmoss and peach, sets a standard for chypre perfumes that others have since tried to duplicate. Mitsouko, which means 'Mystery' in Japanese, remains utterly unique, cloaked in a sensuous air. Mitsouko took its inspiration from the heroine of a popular novel of the time by Claude Farrere, La Bataille, meaning 'The Battle.'

Notes: Bergamot, Rose, Jasmine, Peach, Spices, Oakmoss, Wood.

Style: A balanced, mysterious, and sumptuous fragrance.
